A dedicated team of 18 Amilia employees will join forces, running a collective distance of over 150 kilometers, supporting the YMCA’s efforts to combat social inequality and promote health and well-being among youth and families in need.
The YMCA Challenge, set to take place on May 4th, is an inclusive event organized by the YMCAs of Québec Foundation. With this year's fundraising target set at $150,000, the effort will help underprivileged children and families afford access to Y programs and facilities, significantly impacting their lives.
Amilia, known for its mission to improve community engagement through innovative tech solutions, sees this as an opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause and demonstrate the power of collective effort.
"We're not just running for fitness; we're running to make a difference", says Hugo Lachance, President of Amilia. "Participating in the YMCA Challenge is an honor that reflects Amilia's commitment to more inclusive communities. We stand united in support of the vital initiatives undertaken by the YMCAs of Québec Foundation."
In addition to showcasing the importance of teamwork and corporate social responsibility, Amilia’s participation serves as a call to action, inviting other corporations and partners to join the movement.
